BRUSH, BULKY AND CONSTRUCTION WASTE DISPOSAL
The City has been working with Republic Services to improve the collection of residential brush and construction waste. These requirements must be followed for the collection schedule to work on time.
BRUSH:
Brush left for collection by republic must be in five (5) foot lengths and cannot exceed three (3) inches in diameter. Any larger pieces must be brought to the County landfill. Brush piles are limited to five (5) Cubic Yards (3 feet by 3 feet by 15 feet). Finally, brush cannot be mixed with other construction materials, dirt, bricks, or bulky waste.
Brush is picked-up on the first and third week of your collection schedule.
BULKY WASTES:
Bulky Waste includes stoves, refrigerators that have CFC’s removed, water tanks, washing machines, household appliances, furniture, but not construction debris, dead animals or hazardous wastes.
Bulky waste is picked-up on Thursday on your service week.
