Our mission is to provide an efficient accounting system for City government while ensuring financial accountability to our citizens. The Finance Department is responsible for the administration and supervision of all financial affairs of the City, the timely recording of revenue and the disbursement of City funds in accordance with State Law, City polices, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Finance Department assists in enforcing budgetary control and performs internal audit functions as needed.
