The Port Lavaca Veterans Memorial, located at Bayfront Peninsula Park, represents all military personnel from each branch of the military and also serves as a visual and interactive learning tool to foster public understanding about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to protect and maintain the freedoms enjoyed by every American daily.
The Memorial will also include memorial bricks to commemorate all veterans from those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to those who are actively serving today.
Applications are now available for the Veterans Memorial Bricks to be purchased for the Veterans Memorial to be located at Port Lavaca Bay Front Peninsula Park. The memorial bricks will be available for purchase ($80.00) by those who wish to honor a veteran. You may pick up an application at the City Hall Water Department or download here.
