Copies of police reports and accident reports may be obtained from the Police Department Records Division between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Port Lavaca Police Dept. at 201 N Colorado Street, or by calling 361-552-3788.
Incident and offense reports are $3.00 for first page and .25 for additional pages. Accident reports are $3.00 for first page and .25 for additional pages. A local criminal history may also be obtained for $4.00. For information via the Freedom of Information Act, please complete this request form and submit to the City of Port Lavaca City Secretary’s office.
